Connection to Plant Simulation > UpdateNetwork mode

The main logic for transferring front end data to the back is “UpdateNetwork” (“v_sDestinationNetworkMode” in ModelStartCtrl).

This mode is implemented to have a backend model in Plant Simulation to which a Frontend model is created.

The front end model can there be a sub-set of all the objects within the Plant Simulation root frame (according to the toolbox definition).

After receiving the data from the front end, only the received data will be updated. So, in case of a missing front end object in relation to the backend network, the corresponding data will not be applied.

All other data will be updated corresponding to the encoded data from the Frontend project. In case a node/object is transferred with a name not available, an error is given, also in case of inconsistent attribute definition.
